Taking to her Instagram handle, the singer and rapper posted a poster that read “COMING SOON.”
This confirmation comes just over a month after YG Entertainment confirmed that the star is working on releasing her solo album later this year. Joining BLINKs celebrate the official announcement, were BLACKPINK members Jennie, Jisoo and Rose, who turned cheerleaders and took to their Instagram stories to share the poster and share their excitement.
Recently, Lisa’s post on her Instagram handle got BLINKS buzzing. The image in question, showed producers wearing The Black Label (a division of YG Entertainment) shirts working on a song. Teddy, 24, and R. Tee, longtime BLACKPINK songwriters, are among the producers at The Black Label.
Lisa also uploaded a picture of a sound file with her name on it (Lalisa). A comment, ‘What’s my name?’ written on the pic lead fans to believe that it could just be a big hint of the star’s upcoming track.
In April 2021, it was also confirmed that the star filmed her music video for her debut single.
Besides Lisa, fellow bandmates Jennie and Rose have also been working on new music. Jisoo, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of her acting venture titled ‘Snowdrop’.
