Despite the highly pixilated visuals, it is evident that the clip features Tom Holland as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. Much of the content on the clip is unclear, but another familiar face returning to all the action is Alfred Molina who confirmed his role as Doctor Otto Octavius.
The leak was proven to be real after Sony sprung into action and got the clips deleted from social media sites and YouTube channels. Despite the spoilers and low-quality video, fans seemed pretty ecstatic to receive some content from the makers as the film lines up for its December release.
The alleged leak gave way to a meme fest on Twitter, with fans willing to lawyer up and defend the culprit in court. Others had a field day using popular Marvel dialogues and scenes from films to interpret the reactions of studio bosses.

Besides people trolling Sony and Marvel, others shared their disappointment on not being able to spot Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who are also expected to reprise their roles as their respective Spider-Men in the film that will reportedly set the ball rolling for the ‘Doctor Strange’ sequel ‘Doctor Strange into the Multiverse of Madness’, which will explore alternate realities.
‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ will also star Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Tony Revolori and Jacob Batalon – most of the supporting cast from the previous movies. It will also see the return of Jamie Foxx as the villain Electro. According to the latest buzz, another supervillain, the Green Goblin is also expected to return to the franchise.
The film is currently scheduled to release on 17 December 2021.
