Bolly Buzz: Salman Khan trolled for wearing ‘ulta mask’; Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s surprise trip to Jodhpur – Times of India

From B-town biggies booking their dates with the box office to some upcoming clashes, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt going hunting for wedding venues, Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor getting trolled, take a look at all the top headlines of the day.

Akshay Kumar has been leading the way back to theatres. He took a head-start and announced that his much-awaited film ‘Sooryavanshi’ will have an explosive Diwali release. Following close behind was Ranveer Singh, hoping to smash the ball out of the park this Christmas with ’83 and Shahid Kapoor closing 2021 with ‘Jersey’.

With stars from Tiger Shroff to Ranbir Kapoor, ‘KGF’ star actor Yash and many others booking their release dates right up till Diwali 2022, there are bound to be clashes. But, no other star has as many clashes as Akshay Kumar. The actor will start off with a Diwali clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Antim’, keep the box office battle going into 2022 by locking horns with Robert Pattinson‘s ‘Batman’, and returning to the ring in August with ‘Raksha Bandhan’ to take lock horns with Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Adipurush’.

While some stars are getting ready to wage war at the box office, it is being reported that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt may just be getting ready for their big fat Bollywood wedding. The couple was spotted leaving the city to ring in Ranbir’s birthday in Jodhpur. While this may just be a birthday getaway, the buzz is that the two could also be scouting locations around Rajasthan for their impending nuptials.

Sara Ali Khan also made waves this Sunday when she added a pop of colour to the Global Citizen stage in a saree. The actress left fans stunned with her ethnic choice of clothing for the global event. “She made all of us proud today,” a fan gushed on social media.

Salman Khan had trolls picking on him for wearing an “ulta mask” on his return home from his ‘Tiger 3’ shoot. Shahid Kapoor, on the other hand, sparked off another fire when he picked his most controversial role of ‘Kabir Singh’, over Aditya from ‘Jab We Met’. In a Q&A with fans, the actor was asked to choose between the two fictional characters. But when he did pick the bad boy over the lover boy, things didn’t go down too well.
