Ali Fazal reveals his look from Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Khufiya’ co-starring Tabu, see pic – Times of India

Tabu and Vishal Bhardwaj are reuniting for their next titled, ‘Khufiya’ which will also star Ali Fazal in the lead role.

The actor recently took to his Instagram handle to share a glimpse of his look in the movie. In the picture, Ali is seen sporting a moustache look.

Dressed in a printed shirt, Ali is seen flaunting a moustache in the selfie. He captioned it, ‘The year of the moustache is here!!! Lots to tell. #Khufiya tales.’

‘Khufiya’ is reportedly the story about Krishna Mehra, an R&AW operative who is assigned to track down the mole selling India’s defence secrets. All along, she is also grappling with her dual identity as a spy and a lover. It is inspired by true events and based on the popular espionage novel ‘Escape to Nowhere’ by Amar Bhushan.

After the announcement of the film, Bhardwaj said, in a statement, “With Khufiya, my attempt is to create an edgy espionage film that contrasts the slow burn of intelligence & surveillance work with one’s deep rooted emotional conflicts.”

Speaking about the film and reuniting with the filmmaker, Tabu told PTI, “Khufiya is a one of a kind project, extremely close to my heart and I am excited to be a part of this gripping spy thriller. As always, it’s a delight working with VB (Vishal Bhardwaj) again, and feels like homecoming.’

Meanwhile, on the work front, Tabu also has Anees Bazmee’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ which also stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in lead roles.

Ali, on the other hand, has an upcoming Hollywood film titled, ‘Death on the Nile’ in his pipeline. The film is scheduled for a release in February 2022.
