Vicky Kaushal reveals ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ has not been shelved. Deets inside! – Times of India

Vicky Kaushal was supposed to reunite with his ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ director Aditya Dhar for a superhero movie titled, ‘The Immortal Aswatthama’.

Rubbishing the reports that stated the film has been shelved, Vicky recently told a news portal that they are waiting for a better time to shoot when they will not be worried about COVID and can shoot across the globe. The actor revealed that the film demands attendance of about 300 crew members, which will be a nightmare in current times. According to him, the movie has not been shelved but just pushed ahead.

Spilling some beans on his script-choosing process, the actor added that he judges the film on two parameters. One is that he makes sure he is not repeating his act. Secondly, he pays attention to who the filmmaker is and how he intends to tell the story. Once that is arrived at, he dives headlong and tries to enjoy the process.

On the work front, his film, ‘Sardar Udham’ recently released on an OTT platform. His performance and the film have been receiving positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.

Apart from this, Vicky is also a part of Karan Johar’s magnum opus, ‘Takht’. It also stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
