Aryan Khan reads ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ en route to the NCB’s office to mark attendance – Times of India

After spending a week under the radar, Aryan Khan was spotted arriving at the office of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday afternoon.

The star kid appeared before the central agency to mark his weekly attendance, in keeping with his bail condition in the cruise ship drugs case. This was Khan’s first appearance at the NCB office after his release from the Arthur Road prison on October 30.

Our cameras got the first glimpses of Aryan arriving in his car, accompanied by his father’s bodyguard. Interestingly, he was seen catching up on some reading en route to the NCB’s office. On a closer look, it appears that he was reading the psychological thriller ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’.

The novel by Swedish writer Stieg Larsson was adapted into a film by the same name. It starred ‘James Bond‘ actor Daniel Craig and actress Rooney Mara. The film went on to earn an Oscar win for Best Achievement in Film Editing. It was also nominated for four other Academy Awards, including Best Actress.

With reports suggesting that Aryan is taking an active role in helping dad Shah Rukh Khan with his films, we wonder if all this reading is for an upcoming project. Reports stated that SRK has been asking Aryan for his inputs for various scenes in his upcoming action flick ‘Pathan’ that will also see Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles.

As far as Aryan’s bail conditions are concerned, the 23-year-old was asked to surrender his passport before the NDPS court and barred from leaving the country without permission from the special court.

Last Friday, the high court had made available its operative order in which it imposed 14 bail conditions on Aryan and his co-accused in the case, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, stipulating their release on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each with one or two sureties of the same amount.
