Kamal Haasan has fully recovered from COVID-19 – Times of India


Actor turned Politician Kamal Haasan who was admitted to the hospital after he was tested positive for COVID-19 on November 22, has now recovered completely. Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Porur in a press statement released on December 1 stated that Kamal was treated for mild coronavirus and that he has fully recovered from the infection.

The hospital further added that he has been advised to be in isolation for two more days that is till December 3 and can resume his normal activities from December 4, Saturday.

The statement reads, “Kamal Haasan who has been admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on November 22 was COVID positive. He has fully recovered but is advised to be in isolation until December 3. He will be fit to resume his routine work from December 4.”

Earlier, Kamal Haasan on his official Twitter page stated that following his trip from the USA he had a mild cough.

The actor tweeted, “I had mild cough following my return from the USA. When I tested, the coronavirus infection was confirmed. I have isolated myself in hospital. Everyone should be on guard realising that the COVID-19 spread has not faded.”
