Katrina Kaif’s ‘Phone Booth’ song to be shot soon, as shoots restart after COVID scare – Times of India

The Omicron variant scare and rising COVID cases had brought song shoots to a grinding halt in Bollywood during the past few weeks. But as the COVID numbers are beginning to dwindle, shooting schedules are returning to normal. Even as hubby Vicky Kaushal makes way back to Mumbai after wrapping up his shoot with Sara Ali Khan in Indore, Katrina Kaif is back on sets and rehearsing for a song for the film ‘Phone Booth’, at Yashraj Studio.

The special song also features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter and will be choreographed by Ganesh Hegde. This number was to be shot last month but the third COVID wave forced producers to put quite a few of the shoots, including elaborate songs and dance numbers, on hold. But now, with the cases coming down and most sets are back in action, awaiting the imminent arrival of the stars.

A source from the film industry revealed to ETimes, “All the shootings that were on hold are likely to resume by the end of the month, as cases in Maharashtra have begun to reduce. It has brought back the confidence in the film industry to return to work.” The source also told us that Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh‘s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani song, which was also postponed due to COVID concerns, may also begin its shoot very soon.
