Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have been dating for a while now. The duo has finally decided to take their relationship to next level and seal the deal on February 21. The wedding preparations are going on in full swing.

Reportedly, the couple will have an intimate traditional wedding according to Maharashtrian rituals at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala Farmhouse on February 19. Later, they will register their marriage on February 21. Farhan and Shibani are expected to leave for Khandala on February 18 evening. Reports also suggest that celebs like Alia Bhatt, Ritesh Sidhwani, Hrithik Roshan, Rhea Chakraborty and Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra might attend the couple’s big day.

Earlier, Farhan’s mother Honey Irani expressed her excitement for the wedding. While speaking to ETimes, she said, “It’s a joyous occasion and I am looking forward to it. In fact, everyone in the family is looking forward to it. We are very excited.”

On the work front, Farhan was last seen in ‘Toofaan’. He will be directing ‘Jee Le Zara’ starring Alia, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
