Taapsee Pannu reunites with Anubhav Sinha for an anthology helmed by Sudhir Mishra, says ‘can’t wait to start this one!’ – Times of India


Taapsee Pannu is all set to collaborate with Anubhav Sinha once again for an upcoming anthology with pandemic as the backdrop. It will be directed by Sudhir Mishra.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Taapsee shared the announcement of the same. She wrote, ‘I’m thrilled to be re-uniting with @AnubhavSinha and #BhushanKumar in an anthology film helmed by the brilliant director @IAmSudhirMishra. The story is unique and is set against the backdrop of the pandemic. Can’t wait to start on this one! @BenasM @tseries.’

Taapsee has earlier worked with Anubhav Sinha in ‘Thappad’. The film also starred Dia Mirza, Neena Gupta and Pavail Gulati in key roles. The film received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee recently wrapped up the shooting of ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?’. The film also stars Pratik Gandhi in the lead role. The Arshad Syed directorial will star Taapsee as a feisty cop while Pratik will be seen as a young newly-wedded groom whose wife has gone missing.

Apart from this, she also has films like Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Dobaaraa’, ‘Shabhash Mithu’, ‘Blurr’ and others. She is also reportedly a part of Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama with Shah Rukh Khan. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.
