Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan starrer ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ films are one of the most popular and loved franchises we have in Bollywood. After two successful instalments, reports are rife that the makers are now toying with the idea of the third part.

According to a report in a news portal, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who played the role of Advocate Arun aka Chintu Kumar Singh in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, said in an interview recently that that writer Himanshu Sharma has reportedly wanted to base the next instalment of the film around Kangana and his characters. However, Zeeshan also added that this idea has been floating for quite some time now and nothing concrete has emerged from it.

Kangana had also won a National award for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ in the Best Actress category in the year 2016.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana has a line-up of some very interesting projects that include, ‘Dhaakad’ where she will be essaying the role of Agent Agni. The movie also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in key roles.

Apart from this, she also has ‘Tejas’ in her kitty where she will be stepping into the shoes of an Air Force pilot.

Kangana has also been roped in to play the titular role in ‘Sita: The Incarnation’.
