She is all set to tie the knot with an NRI-businessman sometime in May this year. Our bees have exclusively learnt that Kanika’s to-be husband is a certain Gautam, who is based in London. After a year of romance, Kanika and Gautam will take the wedding vows in UK.

Speaking of love, Aamir Khan has clarified for that he is not a relationship with anyone else (read: Fatima Sana Shaikh). The actor stated that his separation from Kiran Rao happened because things had changed in their relationship of husband and wife and not because of a third person in their marriage. Aamir Khan also admitted that they are still very close to each other and consider each other as their family.

This Friday, the Hindi audience has showered love on Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri directed ‘The Kashmir Files’. The film is not just earning huge at the box office but is also winning a lot of praise from Bollywood. It was also declared tax free in several states. However, film’s IMDb rating of ‘The Kashmir Files’ has caused some controversy. A netizen pointed out that the film’s ratings had dipped after IMDb quoted unusual voting activity and used an alternate weighting calculation for ‘The Kashmir Files’. Despite the praise, popularity and moolah, ‘The Kashmir Files’ now stands at an average rating of 8.3/10.

The British Academy of Film and Television Awards paid a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar in their ‘In Memoriam’ segment. The British Academy described the music icon as ‘an Indian playback singer, who recorded an estimated 25,000 songs for more than 1,000 Hindi films over a career spanning 70 years’. The BAFTA ceremony took place at the Royal Albert Hall and interestingly, Lata Mangeshkar was the first Indian artist to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in 1974.
