‘Radhe Shyam’ box office collection Day 3: Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s film mints Rs 151 crore – Times of India

Riding on mostly positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth, the Prabhas and Pooja Hegde-starrer period love-drama ‘Radhe Shyam‘ had an impressive Sunday at the box office. It collected Rs 32 crore on Sunday. Its total opening weekend collection is Rs 151 crore.

‘Radhe Shyam,’ which hit the big screens on March 11, has been doing exceptionally well at the box office. Prabhas chose a unique script for ‘Radhe Shyam’ and had really worked hard to get into the skin of his character for the movie. The star actor had also promoted the film quite well as he left no stone unturned to ensure its success at the box office. Trade analysts had also predicted that ‘Radhe Shyam’ would start on a good note and fare well in its collections.

‘Radhe Shyam’ managed to remain strong at the ticket counters on Saturday and Sunday. The movie registered very good occupancy in multiplexes, as compared to B and C centres. Despite some flaws, the film has an emotional connection, and it focuses on how eternal love goes beyond the norms and rules of Palmistry. Prabhas plays a world-famous palmist Vikramaditya, while Pooja Hegde was seen essaying a doctor named Prerana in the film.

Bhagyashree, Krishnam Raju, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Jayaram were seen in other important roles. The technical crew includes Justin Prabhakaran as the music composer and S Thaman as the background composer, Manoj Paramahamsa as the Director of Photography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao as the editor. The lyrics for Radhe Shyam’s songs were penned by Krishna Kanth.
