Chunky Panday defends daughter Anany’s bold style: She is in the show business, needs to look glamorous – Times of India ►

Anaya Panday made a bold style statement when she stepped out for Apoorva Mehta’s 50
th birthday bash last week. The actress made heads turn in a sheer slit dress which had corset bodysuit detailing. The actress managed to pull off the glamorous dress but netizens soon started trolling the star kid.

Defending his 23-year-old daughter, Chunky Panday told a news portal that he has never told Ananya what to wear and what not to. He added that Ananya is in the show and she needs to look glamorous. Encouraging her style, Chunky stated that Anaya should put her best foot forward and dress up. When asked about dealing with trolls, the actor said that he advises Ananya not to let the trolls bother her. He tells his daughter that people are discussing about her and that she shouldn’t let these things get to her heart. Chunky concluded by stating that Ananya has learnt to laugh at herself now.

Previously, Ananya’s mother Bhavana Pandey had revealed how the negativity on social media would upset everyone in the family. Speaking about the same, Chunky had told ETimes, “Initially it was very upsetting and disturbing for all of us. But then I said, listen, girl, this is an app. It’s not a human being. Why are you having so many emotions? I mean, I know it’s a lot of people on it, but in the end, you can delete it anytime, you can go back to it anytime. So treat it that way, you know, but of course, it is disturbing for a parent or a person to read all these kinds of things. But as they say, it is nothing personal, only business (laughs). It’s going to be there forever, trolling is not going to stop.” The actress is now spreading positivity in her own way, Chunky adds, “So, Ananya has started an initiative called so positive, to help kids to cope with it because there are a lot of young kids there who get trolled. It is not unique to my family or the film families, everyone gets trolled.”
