Bollywood actress Ameesha will soon be making her big-screen comeback with the sequel of her 2001 hit film ‘Gadar’. The actress will be reprising her role as Tara and will be seen sharing screen space with Sunny Deol who would be essaying the role of Sakina.
Speaking about the film exclusively wh ETimes, Ameesha shares, “Tara and Sakina, the iconic characters of Gadar are back. Its a take off from where we left the original story. If Gadar was the story till the proverbial interval then Gadar 2 is what happens post interval”.
She further added, “It’s a continuation of the story and it’s got all the emotions, music, high drama and comedy, too. I just hope the audiences give us as much love and appreciation as they had with Gadar”.
Apart from Sunny and Ameesha, the Anil Sharma directorial will also star Utkarsh Sharma in a key role.
