As the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) continue to probe the death case of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, recently the investigating agency received an application under the Right To Information Act seeking updates regarding the case.

According to ANI, the CBI team now refused to prove any information in connection to the case. In its reply to the RTI query, they said, “Sushant Singh Rajput case is in the process of investigation, information about the progress may impede the process of investigation. Information requested cannot be provided.”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on 14 June, 2020, under mysterious circumstances that lead to multiple investigating teams probing the different angles in the death case.

Earlier this year, the Narcotics Control Bureau had arrested Sahil Shah who used to live in the same complex where the late actor used to stay. Reportedly, Shah who is among the suspect in a drug case that surfaced during the death probe, surrendered before the team after being on the run for at least nine months.

Apart from this, SSR’s girlfriend-actor Rhea Chakraborty was also previously arrested in a drug-related matter. It was followed by the arrest of the actress’ brother.

Later the two were granted bail by the court.

Meanwhile, SSR’s family, including four sisters, Rani, Meetu Singh, Priyanka Singh and Shweta Singh Kirti alongside their father KK Singh, continue to seek justice for the actor.

On the work front, Sushant last starred in ‘Dil Bechara’.
