Sidharth Malhotra, who left everyone impressed with his performance in ‘Shershaah’, is all set to be a part of Rohit Shetty‘s cop universe. On Tuesday evening, Sidharth took to social media and released the first look from the cop-based series.

In the picture, Sidharth is seen sporting a cop avatar. Sharing the first look with his fans, he wrote, “Rohit Shetty’s cop universe goes digital tomorrow at 11am! @itsrohitshetty @rohitshettypicturez.” Have a look:

Soon after he shared the first look, Karan Johar commented, “Hero” followed by a heart emoji. Milap Zaveri wrote, “Congratsssss buddy!!! Aa raha hai police! You are looking dhamaakedaar 🔥😍👏❤️” His ‘Yodhaa‘ co-star Raashii Khanna dropped a fire emoji. His fans were also seen going gaga over the picture. Comments like ‘Can’t wait 😍😍’ and ‘Wow❤️’ were put by his fans in the comments section.

Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that the actor has already started shooting for it. It was also reported that it will be shot in different locations across Mumbai. It will mark the directorial debut of Sushwanth Prakash who has previously worked with Rohit Shetty in films like ‘Simmba’ and ‘Dilwale’.

Apart from this, Sid has ‘Thank God’, ‘Yodha’ and ‘Mission Majnu’ in the pipeline.
