Ranveer Singh can’t stop gushing over Deepika Padukone; says, ‘She’s my firecracker’ – Watch video – Times of India

After a unique trailer, Ranveer Singh unveiled the first song from his upcoming comedy drama ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar‘ titled ‘Firecracker‘. The actor launched the song at an event with college students in Mumbai. The actor arrived in style dressed in his quirky outfit. He set the stage on fire with his jordaar statements and dance performance.

During the interaction, Ranveer called wife Deepika Padukone his real-life ‘firecracker’. “Lucky toh main hoon, kyunki mere ghar mein Lakshmi hai. Jab se mere life mein aayi hai, jo patri pakadi hai meine. 2012… so it’s 10 years of me and my baby (I am lucky because there is Lakshmi in my house. Ever since she came into my life, I have been on the right track. 2012… So it’s 10 years of me and my baby),” he says and adds, “She is my firecracker.”

‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah and Deeksha Joshi. Ranveer essays the role of a Gujarati man named Jayeshbhai Patel married to Mudra Patel (played by Shalini), who is fighting to save the life of his unborn girl child. Produced by Maneesh Sharma, the film marks the directorial debut of actor-turned-director Divyang Thakkar. It will hit theatres on 13 May.
