ETimes had exclusively confirmed that Kanika Kapoor will tie the knot with an NRI named Gautam on May 20 in London and the festivity has kick started. On Thursday, the singer hosted a Mehendi ceremony which was attended by her close friends and family. Gautam made an appearance for the first time on Kanika’s Instagram timeline and their pictures were packed with happiness. Declaring her love, Kanika had captioned the pictures, “G, I love you sooooo much.”
For the ceremony, Kanika opted for a gorgeous green lehenga, while Gautam opted for a pale yellow sherwani. In the pictures, Kanika was snapped getting her Mehendi done, while Gautam went down on his knee to present an enormous bouquet of roses to his lady love. The couple also shook a leg on Kanika’s popular song ‘Chittiyan Kalaiyan’.
Previously, Kanika was married to London based businessman Raj Chandok and the couple has three kids. Kanika and Raj parted ways in 2011 and were officially divorced in 2012. ETimes had exclusively revealed that Gautam and Kanika decided to tie the knot about six months back.
