Filmmaker Hansal Mehta has tied the knot with his longtime partner, Safeena Husain. On Wednesday, he took to social media and shared adorable pictures from their intimate wedding ceremony. Calling it ‘impromptu and unplanned’, Hansal Mehta and his partner Safeena were seen signing the marriage documents.

Hansal is a renowned filmmaker while Safeena is a social worker and the founder of a non-profit orgnaisation.

Sharing the pictures with his fans, Hansal wrote a sweet note that read, “So after 17 years, two children, watching our sons growing up and chasing our respective dreams we decided to get hitched. As always in life this was also impromptu and unplanned. Our vows however were truthful and but for this little ceremony they would never have been said. Ultimately love prevails over all else. Soon after he shared the good news, his friends from the industry and fans were seen congratulating the newlyweds. Rajkummar Rao, who has worked with Mehta in the past, wrote, “Congratulations my fav couple. You guys complete each other.
