Jagapathi Babu comes on board for Salman Khan’s ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’: Report – Times of India

With each passing day, Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde‘s ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali‘ cast is getting bigger and better. After getting Venkatesh on board for the project, the report now says that Salman has signed Jagapathi Babu for the action-comedy.

The report suggests that Salman is leaving no stone unturned on the casting front. Reportedly, the superstar sat down with his team and has hand-picked the actors of his choice.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Salman has finalised Jagapathi Babu, who is a well-known face in the Telugu industry. The source told the portal that the team wanted an ideal villain in the film to fight Salman and there is no one better than Jagapathi Babu. It is also being said that Jagapathi Babu was earlier supposed to be a part of ‘Dabangg 3’.

‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ will feature stars like Pooja, Venkatesh, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam and Raghav Juyal. Earlier, Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma was a part of the film. But he recently walked out of the film owing to creative differences with director Farhad Samji. A source earlier told ETimes that Salman, who is also the producer of the film stepped in and told Aayush that if they were unable to resolve the issues, then the best option would be to leave the film. It was only after Salman’s affirmation that Aayush took the final call of stepping away from the film.
