Salman Khan’s ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ director Farhad Samji finally breaks his silence on having ‘creative differences’ with Aayush Sharma – Times of India

Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons. Recently, speculations were rife that Aayush Sharma walked out of the film because he had creative differences with director Farhad Samji. Now, the director has reacted to the entire issue and denied the speculations.

Clearing the air, Farhad said that everyone is writing their own version of the film, but the team has not made any official announcement.

Farhad told Pinkvilla that the media is either reading his mind or just doing some sort of prediction. He said that he truly believes that silence is golden. He added that the team will speak about the film and release the assets at the right time. He said that everyone is working very hard every day and he doesn’t want to get into the zone of praising himself or his team or the film. He concluded by saying that let the audience decide and pass a judgement when the film will be released in cinema hall by year-end.

Earlier, a source told ETimes, “The production house has not made any official announcement yet. Whatever has been written and chattered about is nothing but idle gossip and holds no truth or value to it. The production house plans to announce the project and its cast very soon. Recently there were rumors that Farhad Samji is not directing the film, which is absolutely a false. Farhad has been visiting the set from day one of it being built. He is spending more and more time on the set only because the shoot is about to start.”

As of now, the film will star Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, South star Venkatesh and Jagapathi Babu.
