Deepak Tijori’s daughter Samara admits that being a star kid didn’t help her much in getting roles; reveals her first audition was with 180 girls – Times of India


Deepak Tijori’s daughter Samara is currently on cloud nine with her work getting applauded all around the industry. After making her debut with Abhishek Bachchan‘s ‘Bob Biswas‘, the talented actress is now sharing screen space with Boman Irani in a web series titled ‘Masoom’. Despite being a star kid, Samara in an interview with a media publication confessed that she went through all normal processes to be in the entertainment field and also admitted that being Deepak Tijori‘s daughter didn’t help her much.

The actress who is winning hearts with her performance in a web series revealed that her father Deepak Tijori worked in films while ago and eventually took a break from the industry, therefore, being his daughter didn’t help her much to get meaty roles in films, In fact, she revealed that her first audition was along with 180 girls. She also expressed how nervous she was and shaking as she held the slate. She further stated that there were so many other beautiful girls present during the audition that made her even more nervous.

Though Samara is a star kid, the actress hasn’t received any comments on nepotism from fans so far but she is pretty sure that the day is not too far. In fact, she is pretty sure that she will prove herself with talent, hardwork and make her work speak for herself.

Samara did a noteworthy performance as Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter Mini Biswas and is currently locking horns with Boman Irani’s character in ‘Masoom’.
