Kartik Aaryan on ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ crossing the 200 crore mark; Didn’t know it will ‘revive’ Bollywood – Times of India

Kartik Aaryan is currently basking in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyya. The film became a commercial success and has broken all box office records surpassing the 200 crore mark. Reflecting on the same, Kartik admitted that he ‘never imagined or thought’ that the film will cross the 200 crore mark.

In an interview with a news portal, Kartik said he was confident of the content and knew that the film will do at least ₹100 crore at the box office, but didn’t know that the film will be able to revive the industry. He never thought that the film will cross ₹200 crore mark. It is above our expectations. Kartik revealed that he was so nervous, since it was his first theatrical release after the pandemic. He was nervous about the reaction from the audience.

He also added that the filmmakers were confident that family audience will enjoy it as it is an entertaining film. What amazed him was the reaction of kids, like three-year-old children, are singing Hare Ram. Kartik acknowledged that it all felt unreal.

Meanwhile on the work front, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in more interesting projects like ‘Shehzada’, ‘Captain India’, ‘Freddy’ and Sajid Nadiadwala’s untitled next.
