Suniel Shetty says Bollywood is not filled with ‘druggies’: Ek galti kardo toh chor hai… – Times of India


Actor Suniel Shetty has said that Bollywood is not filled with ‘druggies’ at a recent event. He was seen attending an event organised by the CBI on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. He also spoke about the celebs and star kids being questioned in drug-related cases. He said that they should be forgiven for their mistakes.

While speaking at the event, Suniel asked why celebs were being targeted and treated like ‘drug addicts’. He said, “Ek galti kardo toh chor hai, dakait hai. Main 30 saal se industry mein hun aur 300 dost hain mere jinhone zindagi mein kabhi kuch kia nahi hai.”

The ‘Hera Pheri’ actor further added, “Bollywood is not filled with druggies. Galtiyan hum karte hain unhe bhi bachchon ki tarah dekh ke maaf kijiyega. He also spoke about the #BoycottBollywood trend and said, “#BoycottBollywood #BollywoodDruggies vaisa hai nahi.”

Recently, Shraddha Kapoor‘s brother Siddhanth Kapoor was detained for allegedly consuming drugs at a party in Bangalore. He was later granted bail. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan‘s son Aryan Khan was also arrested by the NCB in a drug case. He was kept in custody for almost a month and later was released on bail. The star kid was given a clean chit by the NCB recently.
