Talking to a news portal Suchitra spoke about how she chooses her projects. The actress stated that she likes the intensity of a character and doesn’t like flippancy at all. She revealed that in ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, she had a 15-minute role in it but people still call her the ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ girl, thanks to her being that girlfriend from hell.
Suchitra went on to add that with the way Farhan defined the character, people still remember her after 21 years of the film. When you read the script or are reading a book, you should be able to say that the character is not boring. That’s how she chooses her things, the actress told News18.
‘Dil Chahta Hai’ also featured actors like Sonali Kulkarni, Dimple Kapadia and Preity Zinta in key roles.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Suchitra was last seen in the web series, ‘Eternally Confused’ and “Eager For Love’.
