Sharad Kelkar gets emotional at ‘Har Har Mahadev’ music launch: After watching this film, the audience will accept me as ‘Marathi Mulga’ – Times of India

The release of the much-awaited historical film ‘Har Har Mahadev’ is just around the corner. Going by the same, on Friday (September 30), the music launch of the movie was held in Mumbai with great zeal and enthusiasm.

One of the highlights of the event was actor Sharad Kelkar is all set to play a famous and extraordinary warrior, the great ‘Baji Prabhu Deshpande in Abhijeet Deshpande’s ‘Har Har Mahadev’, got emotional during the music launch of his film.

Speaking at the function, Sharad Kelkar said, “Har Har Mahadev’ is a very special and important movie of my career. After watching this film, the audience will accept me as ‘Marathi Mulga’. It was my mother’s dream that I should also do Marathi films”

“I realized that people have immense love for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj when I did ‘Tanhaji’. Now after portraying ‘Baji Prabhu Deshpande, I don’t have words to express my love and gratitude for Raje. Today, I am very proud that I got a chance to play ‘Baji Prabhu Deshpande’. And the credit goes to our director Abhijeet Deshpande,” the actor added.

The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages. As the film is based on a real battle, it will bring an interesting tale of bravery, sacrifice, friendship and undying grit to attain “Swarajya” to the audience.

It also stars Subodh Bhave and Amruta Khanvilkar in pivotal roles. The film will be released in theatres across the country on October 25, 2022.
