Film producer Kamal Kishore Mishra arrested for trying to hit wife with car – Times of India


Filmmaker Kamal Kishore Mishra has been arrested by the cops for allegedly trying to run his car over his wife Yasmeen in a parking lot. The said incident took place on October 19, after Kamal’s wife spotted him with another woman in his car. The accused reportedly then tried to run his car over his wife and it was all caught on camera in the parking lot.

Kamal Kishore Mishra has been reportedly charged for attempted murder. Following this incident, the filmmaker’s wife had lodged a police complaint against him saying she came out looking for her husband and found him with another woman in his car in the parking area, the Amboli police official said on Wednesday. According to the FIR, the Amboli police station has charged Mishra under relevant Indian Penal Code sections which includes 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others). “I found my husband with another woman in out car when I came out looking for my husband. When I confronted him, he ran over me, trying to escape the location, and in the process injured me. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV cameras of the building’s parking area where I can be seen falling on the ground after being run over by the car,” Mishra’s wife had said in her statement. Post this FIR, Kamal Kishore Mishra had reportedly gone into hiding, but was napped by the copy on Thursday night.

Kamal Kishor Mishra has been the co-producer for films like ‘Dehati Disco’, ‘Bhootiyapa’, ‘Flat No. 420’, ‘Khalli Balli’ and ‘Sharmaji Ki Lag Gai’.
