Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Bhediya’ recorded a slow start at the box office. The film recorded less collection in the morning, but the numbers went upward in the evening shows.

Now, the Amar Kaushik directorial has collected Rs 26.75 crore nett in its first weekend. Although the growth over the weekend was fair, it was still low, a report in boxofficeIndia.com stated.

The film will reportedly need to have a strong hold on Monday, and if it manages to do so, it will get a few more weeks without strong competition until ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ in mid-December.

Fans who watched the first shows on Friday, took to Twitter to give other moviegoers a heads-up. “Don’t Forget to watch Post Credit scene in #Bhediya,” read viral tweets.

Without revealing any spoilers of the scene in question, a fan revealed in a tweet, “This movie is directly connected with Stree movie… Don’t miss the post credit scene.”

‘Bhediya’ is the third film in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe after ‘Stree’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, and ‘Roohi’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.

‘Bhediya’ has Varun playing the role of a shape-shifting wolf in the movie directed by Amar Kaushik which is based on ancient Arunachali folklore.
