Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber stand by animal welfare; the couple is doing THIS to help strays – Times of India

Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber have always invested passionately towards the cause of upliftment and upkeep of animals. The celebrity couple and entrepreneurs has always reached out to people with the message of compassion towards furry beings. In their latest move to actively help animals, the duo has launched two animal ambulances in Anand, Gujarat.

In the recent past, there have been multiple incidents of brutality against strays and untoward accidents. Thus, to avoid situations where animals pass away due to lack of medical attention this move has been called for. The well-equipped ambulances will be able to ensure that strays receive timely help in case of a medical emergency.

Talking about it, Sunny said, “We are launching this brilliant initiative. We routinely read heart-breaking news of brutality against strays and accidents that eventually lead to them losing their lives. While infusing compassion and kindness is a long process, Daniel and I have always believed that pets and strays should have access to immediate medical attention, just like human beings. This is a step forward in that direction.”

Daniel added, “We have worked towards animal rehabilitation for the past few years. It has been a cause we feel strongly about. We have always wanted to ensure that animals have easy access to medical facilities. In the case of strays, it should be free of cost as well. With these ambulances, we are hopeful that we are able to reduce animal deaths by accident.”
