The Golden Globes nominations were announced on Monday, December 12 and in a double whammy for India, S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR scored two nominations – Best Non-English Language Film and Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. Apart from this, actor Brendan Fraser earned a Best Actor (drama) nomination for his path breaking performance in The Whale.

On the other hand, the Best Actress nominations boasted of some formidable names such as Ana De Armas for Blonde, Cate Blanchett for Tar, Olivia Colman for Empire Of Light, Viola Davis for The Woman King and Michelle Williams for The Fabelmans.
