On this special occasion, Babil penned an emotional note and shared a childhood picture with his parents. He wrote, “Questions keep me up at night. Those that I never asked then, those that I can never ask now. My inquiries are left for me to quench on my own, that’s okay, I will figure it out. I miss your laughter though, I don’t think there is an answer for that. Remembering a day when you arrived here.”
Many celebs from the industry commented on Babil’s post and sent wishes.
Baabil’s first post of 2023 was also about his father. He shared a picture of Irrfan, Sutupa and his brother Ayaan and wrote, “2023: Happy new year to aap sabh ❤️ It’s baba’s birthday in 3 days. Let us refine ourselves. Let us stop, reflect and recognise ourselves. Let us understand the voids that built these walls between you and I, allow me to love you and let us unify ourselves. Let us come together this year. Let’s be one big family 🥹”
While Irrfan was too good an actor to ever be replaced, Babil is certainly making his father proud as he’s getting a lot of appreciation for his latest work, ‘Qala’ directed by Anvitaa dutt which released on OTT. It sees him alongside Tripti Dimri.
