Emily Ratajkowski did not hold back when she slammed Ellen DeGeneres for a viral interview with Taylor Swift back in 2012. A clip of Taylor talking about her music career and achievements being reduced to the men she had dated and her rumoured love life.

“This is so f–ked up,” the supermodel, wrote on the viral TikTok video.

“She’s literally begging her to stop,” she added.

The clip features Swift looking visibly uncomfortable as DeGeneres played a game that required the singer to ring the bell every time a man she dated appeared on the screen.

“Stop it, stop it, stop it!” Swift says in the video and adds, “This makes me feel so bad about myself. Every time I come up here, you put a different dude up on the screen. It just makes me really question what I stand for as a human being.”

The video was stitched with the singer’s recent interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Beats, where she spoke openly of ‘people’ reducing her achievements in music to her dating life.

Although Swift did not really drop any names of these ‘people’, fans were convinced she was referring to the Ellen interview. “When I was like 23, people were just kind of reducing me to — kind of making slideshows of my dating life and putting people in there that I’d sat next to at a party once and deciding that my songwriting was like a trick rather than a skill and a craft,” Swift told Lowe.

“It’s a way to take a woman who is doing her job and succeeding at doing her job and making things, and it’s, in a way, it’s figuring out how to completely minimize that skill,” she said.
