Yash Paryani, the co-founder of fan club SRK Universe confirmed to Pinkvilla that they will be organising shows of Pathaan in over 200 cities of India. A minimum booking worth Rs 1 crore is expected from these shows alone. While Mumbai will have 7 to 8 first day first show celebrations, Delhi will have 6. Likewise, there will be multiple shows in other cities, the report further stated.
The celebration willnot just be limited to first day, but through the entire Republic Day weekend. Besides SRK Universe also plans to do merchandising of Pathaan. “We will be distributing special Pathaan Merchandise, have special cut outs, with dhols. Our idea is to celebrate SRK films like a festival and Pathaan will be no different,” Yash was quoted saying.
Besides, it was recently learnt that the Pathaan trailer will be showcased on the iconic Burj Khalifa for the International League T20. Nelson D‘Souza, Vice President, International Distribution said, “Pathaan is one of the most eagerly awaited films of our times and a film like this deserves to be mounted in the grandest manner when it comes to presenting it to audiences. We are thrilled to announce that Dubai will be celebrating Shah Rakh Khan and Pathaan as the trailer of the film will be showcased on the iconic Burj Khalifa! We are delighted that Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently in UAE for the International League T20, will make time to be present when the trailer plays out on one of the most significant architectural marvels of the world. SRK has unprecedented fan following in the UAE and we feel this activity befits the hype that Pathaan carries today, thanks to the overwhelming love that is being showered on it by his fans and audiences alike.”
Pathaan will release in theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
