The “showman” of Bollywood, Subhash Ghai has been missing from action since many years now. His last directed film was Kaanchi in 2014. It starred newbie Mishti Chakraborty in the lead role, along with Kartik Aaryan, Mithun Chakraborty and late Rishi Kapoor.

However, the prolific filmmaker makes it a point to keep in touch with his industry friends. As the director turns 78 today, he threw a birthday bash yesterday, where many stars marked their presence.

Seen at the do were Abhishek Bachchan with wife Aishwarya. While Abhishek looked dapper in a black bandhgala, Aishwarya looked breathtaking in a royal blue salwar kameez. For makeup, the diva chose to leave her hair open and sported pink lips.
Superstar Salman Khan too, was seen arriving at the venue. The actor stuck to his casual look and was seen wearing denims with a brown jacket. Mahima Chaudhry was also seen at the do, wearing a white ensemble.
Others who attended the party were Anupam Kher, Rakesh Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Ronit and Rohit Roy, singer Alka Yagnik and more.
