Pathaan is looking to cross over Rs 20 crore and might end the day to breach Rs 25 crore mark. Mass circuits like MP and UP are huge in terms of footfalls and even if it witnesses a significant drop, the movie could still register a massive number in collection, according to Box Office India.
The movie, which also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles, witnessed a record-breaking run during the opening weekend with a 20 per cent drop in ticket rates at multiplexes. Films like KGF 2 and Dangal have held the biggest non-holiday Monday till date and Pathaan is looking to break this record too.
The unprecedented response to Pathaan on Monday will guarantee Shah Rukh Khan’s film to have a strong run in theatres in the upcoming weeks. The movie is now marching its way to become an all-time blockbuster.
According to Yash Raj Films (YRF), Pathaan has grossed Rs 542 crore worldwide in five days. It is the fourth movie in producer Aditya Chopra‘s ambitious spy universe, following Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and War featuring Hrithik Roshan (2019).
