The actress took to Instagram to share a few glimpses of her brother’s wedding and welcomed Shivani into the family. “My brother got married to the love of his life! What a rollercoaster of a week it was! I have cried happy tears and laughed like a child. Anna, as you step into the next phase in your life, i hope you LOVE uncontrollably, GIVE with all your heart and find PEACE and understanding in each others presence. @shivanis09, you beautiful stunning bride, welcome to the family,” she wrote.
In the pictures, Pooja was seen wearing a silk sari with her hair tied in a bun. She looked beautiful in the attire. The groom opted for a white sherwani while the bride looked stunning in a silk sari. Pooja along with her family members also posed together for a happy picture.
Pooja also apologised to her Instagram followers for being away for her brother’s wedding without prior notice. “Sorry I have been AWOL, but major life changing things happened last week,” she wrote on her Instagram stories. She also tagged her sister-in-law in the picture and wrote, “Welcome to the family. It’s a crack one but a fun loving bunch.”
On the work front, Pooja was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s film Cirkus, which also featured Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma among others. The film also featured Deepika Padukone in a special appearance.
The actress will be next seen in Salman Khan‘s upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. It also marks the Bollywood debut of Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari. Directed by Farhad Samji, the movie also stars Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, Daggubati Venkatesh, Jassie Gill among others. It is scheduled to release on Eid this year.
