Adivi Sesh on Naatu Naatu’s Oscar win: It’s a glittering honour for MM Keeravani’s career – Times of India

Adivi Sesh who is currently recuperating from a minor injury feels elated at RRR’s victory at the Oscars. “I feel Naatu Naatu hasn’t just won an Oscar for Best Song but it’s an award that honours the career of the legendary Keeravani garu. I feel proud to be Indian. Proud to be Telugu.”

Sesh feels the maverick composer MM Keeravani has waited long enough for such a global honour. “All the while realizing that it’s a cherry on a glittering cake that is MM Keeravani garu’s career. That this felicitation has also happened because of the hard work of two of India’s biggest stars Ram Charan and NTR Jr, the vision of the brilliant SS Rajomouli and the fantastic choreography of Prem Rakshith master… makes it glorious.”

A lot of Naatu Naatu fans feel the choreographer has not been honoured enough.
Reacting to his win, MM Keeravani had said at the post-presentation Oscar’s interview, “I’m on cloud nine and I feel very blessed to back this kind of greatest recognition of the world for my country, my culture, my motherland, and my movie industry from the Telugu language. I feel so great.”
