Virat Kohli’s popularity in Bollywood has gone up immensely ever since he tied the knot with actor Anushka Sharma in 2017. The cricketer has appeared in many commercials and is friends with many artists from the industry. Recently, casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra opened up on the 34-year-old, saying that even though he has no intention of being an actor, he will be a great fit.

In an interaction with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, Mukesh said that Virat is an extremely chilled out guy. He revealed, “He is from Delhi and people from Delhi are a bit bindass. I have met Virat a couple of times at social gatherings. He is a great guy, he is very chilled out. He doesn’t want to become an actor, but he dances well, does great mimicry, even if you see him in ads, he has a lot of confidence.”

He said that now that he is a father, he has become a little serious, but at heart, he still remains the same. He added, “Ab to jabse aur responsibility aa gayi hai, thode serious ho gaye, par chole-bhature khane wala aadmi chilled out hi ho sakta hai.” (Now, he has become slightly more serious. But a person who loves chole-bhature can only be chill in life)

Incidentally, Virat and Anushka met on the sets of an ad shoot and started dating each other soon after, before finally tying the knot. Their daughter Vamika was born in early 2021.
