Ever since Zeenat Aman has joined Instagram, the actress has been serving some major inspiration not just for netizens but also several celebs. Her long captions address various issues and also give a glimpse of the feelings in her heart. Aman loves staying connected to her fans and staying honest with them through her posts. The actress who is an icon in many ways expressed in her new post that while she’s now getting many collaboration offers on social media by various brands, she’s going to be very picky about these collaboration posts.
Zeenat shared a picture from the Oxford Street in London and spilled some memories of that place. She wrote, “Oxford Street has changed over the last 45 years, but not nearly as much as I have. I’m in London for a brief visit, and it’s been such fun to show the boys my old haunts. Between personal visits and film shoots, the city was a second home of sorts for many years.”

The diva further revealed she did a lot of shopping from London. She added, “In my twenties I would make a beeline to this street to browse the aisles of Selfridges. I loved their summer fashions, none of which were available in India at the time. So when I found an outfit I liked, I’d buy it in multiple colours! Once my shopping bags were in hand, it would be time for further retail therapy at Harrods.”

Zeenat shared that ever since she joined social media, she’s been getting many offers for brand collaborations. While she may consider those, she would be picky and will always maintain her own integrity and the integrity of her page for her fans. “Since I’m on the subject of shopping, I have to say that I’ve noticed that many Instagram profiles are more akin to advertising billboards than blogs! It’s a bit of a pity, but it has helped me decide my own approach to this app. Though collaboration requests are pouring in, I’m determined to broach these with caution. I do not think I will share more than three or four, clearly labelled, collaborative posts a month, and I will most definitely not copy-paste captions. I have grown to be possessive of this space we are creating and want to retain its integrity. Both for myself and for those who follow my page.”

While the skies in London were grey, they’ve not made her spirit dull. “The weather here is quintessentially grey, but my spirits are high. I send each of you my gratitude and warm wishes. Though I am unable to reply personally, I do read the wonderful comments, messages and suggestions that you leave for me,” she said.

On work front, the actress was last seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘Panipat’.
