Priyanka Chopra shares cryptic post on being ‘blunt and honest’ amidst ‘sample-size’ controversy with stylist Law Roach – Times of India

Priyanka Chopra on Thursday, shared some food for thought with all her fans when she shared a video on being ‘blunt and honest’.
“There’s nothing that says truth has to be brutal,” the video says. It goes on to add, “You don’t have to hurt people… also, timing!”

This rather cryptic post comes after the actress stirred up a controversy when she claimed that a stylist, later revealed to be Law Roach, allegedly body-shamed her. “Someone told me yesterday that I wasn’t sample-sized. I was hurt and I discussed it with my family, and I cried to my husband, and my team,” she revealed.

However, the allegations were later crushed by Roach, who said that he has nothing to do with the incident or the hurtful remarks.

In an interview with The Cut, the celebrity stylist clarified, “It was a little bit hurtful in a way that it ended up in the press, you know? Because that wasn’t the real conversation. I’ve never had that conversation with her, ever.”

He went on to claim that Priyanka’s team and her ‘gatekeepers’ were responsible for painting him as the ‘bad guy’ as they no longer worked together.

“I’m sure it was taken outta context to get her to be like, ‘Oh, okay, I’m not working with him no more. He’s insensitive to my body,'” the stylist continued.

Law further added, “I think sometimes what it is with them is that they have an agenda and I need to be the bad guy because I’m the one who’s dealing with the clothes and the body.”

Despite what happened, Law insisted that he had no hard feelings towards Priyanka and showered her with praise.

Following his viral comments, Twitterati began trolling the actress for ‘wanting free designer clothes’. Others blamed her as one of the reasons why Law retired from the industry citing ‘lies and false narratives’.

The stylist announced his retirement on March 14 via a since-deleted Instagram post. He wrote, “If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not. The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me!”

He, however, did mention that he will continue to only style Zendaya.
