Shazam! Fury Of Gods features 100 per cent real Gal Gadot not deepfake version says David F Sandberg – Times of India

Director David F Sandberg put up a tweet just before his film, Shazam! Fury of the Gods was released a few days ago telling people not to watch the official trailer which contained a spoiler and showed Gal Gadot making an appearance in the film. Now, he is again busy sending out more tweets to prove to the world that the scene was actually shot with Gal Gadot and is not showing her body double Taylor Cahill with Gal Gadot’s face superimposed using deepfake technology.Sandberg categorically stated that he directed Gal Gadot remotely through computer as she was in England and he could not travel there because of a visa issue. She appears at the end of the film as a deux ex machina as her character of Wonder Woman is the only person with godly powers to bring Shazam back to life.

As proof, he put up a video of himself on twitter that showed him directing Gal Gadot remotely through computer. He also wrote that it was very real and not a deepfake as some have speculated. The video shows him clearly directing the scene remotely. He wrote, “When you see Gal, it is 100% of her”.

Will this be Gal Gadot’s last appearance in the DC universe? What everyone does know is that the Wonder Woman 3 film has certainly been dropped, but whether Gal Gadot continues as Wonder Woman in the DC Universe, only time will tell.
