Mira Nair is busy working towards her next blockbuster, wherein she plans to narrate the story of Indian-Hungarian painter Amrita Sher-Gil. She had announced this project in 2020 but the pandemic delayed her plans.
However pre-production on this film has begun and Mira Nair has approached some interesting actors for the same. The biographical drama is reportedly titled ‘Amri’ and the filmmaker plans to rope in Naseeruddin Shah, Vicky Kaushal, and Jim Sarbh to play the key roles, reports Peepingmoon. Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh are on board while Vicky is reportedly still working out his calendar to accommodate Mira Nair’s project.
