Controversial actress Sherlyn Chopra has recently recalled getting rejected by filmmakers such as Mahesh Bhatt and Ram Gopal Varma in the film industry. However, she still doesn’t know the reason behind her rejection.
“I was rejected by the entire industry. Directors Mahesh Bhatt and Ram Gopal Varma had rejected me. I don’t know the reasons though for my rejection. They would just say, ‘Nahin tum mein woh baat nahi hai… namkeen nahin ho… waise abhi main duniya bhar ka sodium lekar chal rahi hoon (no, you don’t have that thing in you….you are not salty….by the way now I carry sodium with me’. But it’s fine. The universe has supported me. I care not as God is with me. Today, I have all good things with me I have received loads of respect from one and all,” Sherlyn was quoted as saying by Free Press Journal.

She further said that she felt like committing suicide after facing rejections and breakups post her father’s demise. She said that she was a topper in school and today her batch-mates say, ‘Humari chashmish president itni khoobsurat ban gayi hai.’
She also talked about her wedding plans and said that her husband should be a millionaire, a one woman man and not a liar. She added that her partner should be sincere and good hearted.
Sherlyn has worked in movies such as Kamasutra: The Revenge, Time Pass, Red Swastik, Jawani Diwani: A Youthful Joyride and Wajah Tum Ho. She has also participated in Bigg Boss 3 and hosted MTV Splitsvilla 6 with Nikhil Chinap.
