‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ box office collection week 3: Rani Mukerji starrer set to cross Rs 20 crore mark – Times of India



Rani Mukerji’s acclaimed film ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is holding up well at the box office. The film which entered its third week has been sustaining well at the box office as its collection shot past the Rs 18 crore nett mark. Going by the current trend, the film is expected to comfortably cross the Rs 20 crore nett mark.
The film earned an estimated Rs 9.68 crore in its first week and added another Rs 6.01 crore to its collection in its second week, states a report on boxofficeindia.com. The film has also earned an estimated Rs 2.25 crore four days into week three. The estimated total of the film now stands at Rs 17.94 crore.

The 20 crore nett mark now is said to be the benchmark for films with low budgets. ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ was made on a budget of under Rs 30 crore and became the second post-pandemic low-budget film to have success at the box office.

Following the rave reviews for her film, Rani Mukerji paid a visit to Kamakhya temple in Assam to thank the goddess and to seek her blessing. About what took her to Kamakhya Temple, Rani told IANS, “I want to take blessings from Maa Kali, basically say thank you and keep her blessings on (me). How much ever thank you, we say it is never enough.”
