‘Gadar’ ticket prices capped at Rs 150; producers offer ‘Buy 1, Get 1 Free’ – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Anil Sharma‘s 2001 blockbuster is set to splash on the big screen, once again, tomorrow (June 9). The movie is being re-released perhaps as a revision exercise for those who hadn’t seen it then and haven’t seen it yet, and for those who want to see it again- before they witness ‘Gadar 2’ from August 11 onward.

Equally exciting is- what we have heard- that the producers, Zee, have decided that they shall not allow the ticket price to go beyond Rs 150 and give a ‘Buy 1, Get 1 Free’ offer. If two movie buffs watch the the Sunny Deol- Ameesha Patel starrer that released 11 years ago, each one will get to watch the re-release for only Rs 75.
For those who’ve come in late, ‘Gadar’ despite going for a limited release, will see a premiere tomorrow wherein not just the film’s cast and crew has been invited but even their families. Just yesterday, we brought you the news that the families of late Amrish Puri and Anand Bakshi (associated with the first part) have also received the invitation.

‘Gadar 2’ is in post-production and Sharma is moving very fast to give the finishing touches to a product that he is confident will bring the public to the theatres and give them a whale of time.
