Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) is lately well known for his exemplary work in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa- The Rise with songs like Saami Saami, Oo Antava and Srivalli. The music composer recently expressed his deep gratitude to Salman Khan for his unwavering support and admiration. DSP mentioned that Salman Khan has been a consistent source of encouragement and has shown immense affection towards him.

DSP conveyed his appreciation for Salman Khan, stating that the actor has been a significant pillar of support throughout his career. He revealed that Salman Khan often reaches out to him for his films, requesting him to create music, which is a testament to the strong bond they share. DSP also noted that Salman enthusiastically talks about him to various directors and producers in the industry, further highlighting the camaraderie between them.
DSP recalled a late-night phone call from Salman Khan after the release of the song ‘Saami Saami’ from the movie Pushpa: The Rise. During the call, Salman Khan, without uttering a word, began singing the song demonstrating his genuine appreciation for DSP’s work.
Salman and DSP’s relationship goes back to the film Ready when they created the song “Dhinka Chika” in 2011. Since then they have also created “Naacho Re” in Jai Ho, “Seeti Maar” in Radhe, and a song in Salman Khan’s most recent film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Salman recently released the first song “Leke Prabhu Ka Naam” from his upcoming film Tiger 3, the song is his first collaboration with singer Arijit Singh. Both of them had a fallout many years ago due to a misunderstanding at an award function.
