Emraan Hashmi to Karan Johar: ‘I’m not a good kisser, I’m the best’ | – Times of India

After the success of Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi is set to entertain audiences once again with a grey character in the upcoming web series Showtime, produced by Karan Johar. At the trailer launch event held today, Karan Johar was seen engaging in a fun conversation with Emraan Hashmi who was joined by Mouni Roy, Shriya Saran and Mahima Makwana on stage.
During the event, Karan posed a rapid-fire question to Emraan, asking him about a rumour he would like to dismiss about himself.To which, Emraan replied, “That I’m a good kisser.” He then confidently asserted, “I’m not a good kisser, I’m the best.” His response drew laughter from the audience.
The Showtime trailer offered a glimpse into Emraan’s character as a producer entangled in a battle against a newcomer, played by Mahima Makwana. The trailer hints at power struggles within the industry, with Rajeev Khandelwal‘s character, a superstar, giving a crucial lesson about the hierarchy in Bollywood.

Mouni Roy sizzles on screen as Emraan’s wife, showcasing her versatility in a glamorous avatar. Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah portrays the role of the head of a film studio, while Shriya Saran adds depth to the ensemble cast with her pivotal role.

Emraan earlier said in a statement, “Being in the industry for so long, I have seen both the good and bad side of it, so when this show came to me, I grabbed the opportunity of being a part of it and could resonate with it on various levels”. He said the audience is keen to know more about what goes on behind the closed doors of Bollywood and “let me just say – we have heard you all! Get ready to dive deep into the tales of Bollywood!”
Showtime will be out on March 8 on OTT platform.
