Malaika Arora reveals she would remind Kareena Kapoor Khan to sit like a lady during her pregnancy and the actress would roll her eyes – Times of India


Malaika Arora shares a great bond with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actress even wrote a guest column in Bebo’s recently released book on pregnancy. In her column, Malaika revealed that she would constantly remind Kareena to sit like a lady during her pregnancy and she would roll her eyes.

According to a news portal, Malaika admitted in the column that Kareena indeed carried her pregnancies beautifully. She also revealed that a few of them, who are really close to her put on weight with her during both her pregnancies. It was a pseudo-pregnancy for Malaika too.

Elaborating further, Malaika added that they could cook, cater to her whims, eat together, and spend hours chilling. She also revealed that during both her pregnancies, Malaika would continually have to remind her ‘to sit like a lady’. And she would roll her eyes and say, ‘I can’t back my thunder thighs’. According to her, Kareena was never guilty about enjoying her pizzas and burping. She was a trooper. She was always on her feet, getting out there and doing her thing.

Malaika also was all praise for Kareena’s maternity fashion. According to her, Kareena always looked amazing in her books. She also recalled that one-shoulder olive gown with a high slit and gold gladiator heels she wore during Taimur’s pregnancy where she had such flair. Malaika also added that she even once asked her why she was wearing heels! But she was strutting with the utmost confidence. And during Jeh’s time as well, the number of kaftans she wore, Malaika told her to make a bonfire and burn them once he was born.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena is awaiting the release of her upcoming film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ co-starring Aamir Khan in the lead role. She also recently announced her collaboration with Ekta Kapoor and Hansal Mehta for an upcoming project.
