‘Bell Bottom’ star Akshay Kumar steps out for fresh air after finishing his quarantine in London; reveals he is ‘Missing Ratlam ki galiyaan’ – Times of India


Akshay Kumar, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, ‘Bell Bottom’, is currently in London to start shooting for his next film. The actor has shared a picture on social media post finishing his quarantine.

In his caption, Akshay mentioned that he stepped out to get some fresh air after quarantining for a few days. He also said that he is missing ‘Ratlam ki galiyaan’ after enjoying the greenery around.

Sharing the picture on Twitter, Akshay wrote, “Just finished my quarantine in London today and stepped out for some fresh air. One look around and I was immediately transported to Ratlam which I remember visiting as a child during my summer vacations. Anywhere I’d see, I could see green

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bell Bottom’ also stars Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in key roles. Directed by Ranjit Tewari, it will be the first film to release in theatres after the second wave of coronvirus.

Meanwhile, while interacting with the media earlier, Akshay reacted to the hilarious memes made on him after Neeraj Chopra clinched gold at the Tokyo Olympics. When Akshay was asked about how does it feel when his name comes up every time the country achieves something, followed by people asking him to do a biopic on the topic. The actor was all smiles as he replied, “I think it’s very funny. I also saw that picture of mine where I am holding a stick. That still is from my film ‘Saugandh’ and it was really funny. My wife (Twinkle Khanna) also sent it to me, and I told her that I had seen it earlier (laughs)”. Neeraj Chopra recently also said that if at all a biopic was to be made on him, Akshay Kumar should essay his role. When we asked Akshay about his thoughts on this, he quipped, “I think he is a very good looking and handsome man. If my biopic comes up, he should do it (laughs)”.

‘Bell Bottom’ is set to release on August 19.
